Big Thompson River Corridor Master Plan - Technical Advisory Committee Meeting

  • PWA Upper Conference Room 202 and 203 2525 West 1st Street Loveland, CO, 80537 United States (map)

Much has happened since the Big Thompson River Corridor Master Plan‘s kick-off meeting on April 18.  The project is moving forward at full speed.  The internal group that contributed at the kick-off meeting is being reconvened on July 14.  The purpose of the meeting will be to update you on the river corridor master plan’s progress and to seek your input on its various components.  An agenda will be provided closer to the meeting date.

The project team has actively been soliciting public input and will be engaging the public through a number of means, including have a booth at numerous summer functions, using the website, the June City Update, Open City Hall, etc.  GIS data has been compiled into high quality, useful maps.  River reach segments are being investigated and analyzed with data going into reach report cards that will provide an assessment of resiliency metrics for that reach.  Field investigations are occurring.  All this and more will be discussed on the 14th.

We look forward to continuing our discussion into the future of the river corridor!
